A month in review!

We are right in the midst of a very busy wedding season! We have truly been blessed with some of the best, most appreciative clients and we could not be happier being a part of their special day. We have the the privilege of working with some of the greatest vendors who help make up such a HUGE part of the success of a wedding or event. A special thank you to all of the vendors for making our job just a little easier and easing the minds of our bride and grooms!

A Spin on Napkin Rings!

I came across some napkin rings on a clearence rack a while back and just knew that I would think of something to do with them when my creative light bulb went off again. Well, after attending, and executing different weddings, birthday parties, corporate parties....one thing that is not often seen is a napkin ring. For several of the weddings coming up this spring and summer, this is something we have decided to use to help add color and a little more character to the table decor. This is an easy D.I.Y. project and depending on where you purchase the actual rings, these are budget friendly.
The mustard yellow napkin rings are made from wool felt and required nothing more than sissors and a hot glue gun. It will be fun for you go shopping for exactly what catches your eye! Consider adding a fun print like the blue and brown polk-a-dots above.
What if you used the same color palette but had different designs for each napkin ring? This will add an aray of character to your tables and give your guests something to chat about while waiting for dinner. If you do a seating chart, you could put a tag on each napkin ring with your guests' name on it as shown below.
Wine corks are one of my most favorite ideas for napkin ring holders. Unique and very personal.
I enjoyed a little praise and worship while busting out a fun, personalized decor piece for a couple of my clients! Have fun!

D.I.Y. Love Monday's! Moss Balls

D.I.Y. Moss Balls
Moss balls are super easy to make and will cost you $3.00-$7.00 depending on if you are able to get them half off at Hobby Lobby or a discounted price at Michael's

All you will need is a package of sheet moss and any size of foam ball. For this project, we are using a 6 inch diameter ball. Make sure your hot glue gun is nice and warm and you have plenty of glue stick. Start by putting hot glue on a section of the ball, then tear off a piece large enough to place on the glue. Continue till your foam is completely covered. Each ball will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Happy crafting!

Bonus project!!!
Do you have a bunch of wine corks laying around?!? Grab them and make a rustic business card holder, or as place setting card holders!
