A Designer's Dream: FREE REIGN!

The Holiday Table Event at the Wichita Center for the Arts is one of the events that I have been excited for all year. I love my job, the clients, the thrills, perks, challenges, etc...but nothing gets me more excited than the opportunities I get to create something beautiful from scratch; just me and my imagination. The Holiday Table event allows me to do just that. This year's design centered around "Holiday Table Dressings"
This year my inspiration came from Moore Flowers Designer, Kathleen Baker. A couple of bridal shows ago, she made the most gorgeous burlap panels and table linen. I immediately fell in love with the concept and design and knew that I would wanted them to be the focal point of my display at HT. The next task was to come up with color palette. This was not hard....Burlap, whites and cremes, with an accent of turquoise. There were several other contributors that helped in bringing the complete design together, which I am TRULY thankful for! Ashley Owen; owner of Ruffles and Rust, Brandi Winger, Danielle Hoover, Gayla Kaufman, and Erin Hutton. Could not have pulled it off without their time and willingness to help, especially being 9 months pregnant!:)

Enhancing Our Journey With A New Adventure
At Events By Ashley, we absolutely love getting to meet with brides and other potential clients to help ensure that the special days they are hiring us for, go just as smooth as possible to ease the stress for our clients,  and their family and friends. We enjoy the planning process, and the opportunities we have to get to know some pretty amazing people, as well as the great honor we feel, for being chosen to help them create and execute their vision and dream.
Part of the fullfillment of my job as owner, is the ability to create a space for a client that is both inviting and warm, so that my clients and their guests feel comfortable as they celebrate. My LOVE for design and decorating are what really brought me to the world of Event Planning and so to enhance what we have already begun through Events By Ashley, I have decided to launch, Design By Ashley. Along the planning process I am able to assist our clients with referrals and suggestions for decor, but I wanted to offer just a "Decorating, Inspiration" time for clients that do not really need a full service planner.

Each package; just as with our Event Planning packages, will be tailored to the specific needs of our clients. We are willing to help just assist in creating a vision for a space, table, or home, as well as assist with shopping and other specific needs related to the desiging process.  Give us a budget and we can do complete creation and execution of the clients vision. Part of that process would include presenting ideas through inspiration boards that we will present to our clients for final approval. We will decorate for weddings, private parties, corporate events, home decor for the holidays, and many other things.

I am so excited for this new opportunity and look forward to helping create; inviting, warm, and
one-of-a-kind decor for that special season or event!
